For a rainbow
You have to face the storm
Out of the darkness
Is when the colors form

But it won’t come
If you’re blocking out the sun
But you’re learning
Where the clouds are coming from

Cause you can’t get it out of your brain
How everything’s going to change
Whether you like it or not
Everything that you got
Is someday all gonna be gone

So it’s okay to cry sometimes
I won’t judge you
I’ll just hold you
It’s okay to be afraid
Of what’s out there
You don’t know what’s out there
It’s okay to cry

 It takes courage
To lead you through the dark
And the daylight
Only comes after you see the stars
At midnight 
It’s easy to lose your way
But remember 
If you make it through night you will soon see the day

But you can’t get it out of your brain
How everything’s going to change
Whether you like it or not
Everything that you’ve got
Is someday all gonna be gone
